Alterac Valley - Not just for Honor Farming Anymore

You've heard it right. Now that BGs give out good ol' EXP, Alterac Valley is now the most time effecient way to go from 70 to 80. While some 80s will bitch and complain this has caused an influx of lowbies to invade their "elite" battleground, both sides have these lowbies: And due to the various conditions of these less than uber participants, AV has become a lot more dynamic. Kinda.

Well, wins and losses seem more random, anyway.

Now, don't be discouraged if you're not an 80 - Not only can you get good EXP this way, as well as nice honor, you can, in fact, contribute to the winning of the map regardless of gear and level.

But first, let's go over the pros and cons of using AV to level 70-80.

Pros
- Faster EXP/Hr than questing* (*on average)
- The honor gained during this will allow you to pick up many pieces of your PvP gear the moment you hit 80.
- More PvP experience before the 80 only BGs.
- Winning can yield massive EXP and honor.

Cons
- Less immediate rewards (gold/equipment/faction rep)
- Frustration against higher leveled/geared opponents happens often.
- Will be picked on/yelled at a lot.
- Getting dominated will yield almost nothing for your time.
